veink (vertical+ink) is a product of chance and circumstance, from having friends who make amazing art, along side a passion for creation and exploring new technologies. The idea was born after making cutouts of different styles of artwork for friends and opening minds to the infinite possibilities. On top of this, events around the world in 2020 made it that finding new avenues for making and selling art took a primordial importance for many artists.

veink is a fabrication service for any artist that wishes to expand their art to a unique physical format. Artwork cutouts offer a durable, tangible alternative to more traditional printed formats. Their three dimensional aspect gives them a very sharp contrast when placed on almost any surface. The unique transparency inherent to the format keeps the artwork versatile and compatible in most places.

about veink

veink is a venture of Ant1 Art + Design, which is the child of Antoine Marcheterre. Coming from an architecture and design background, Antoine makes artwork influenced by nature, light, geometry, science, and a wish to create experiences of marvel for people paying attention.

Ant1’s values are conserved through veink. Environmental and human relations are at the core of the project.

Waste is limited by maximizing use of sheet goods, suggesting artwork sizes that make better use of the material/shipping, proper disposal of scraps that cannot be further used, packaging from reused sources, bulk shipping.

Not selling retail pieces to individuals is a combination of those values. We believe that art is best bought directly from its creator. As well as empowering artists, it reduces shipping needs and allows creation of interesting relationships while supporting a local economy.
